Scoring in martial arts level of competition is completely subjective and exactly what occurs following the very first strike does not matter to the effect of the scoring of the exchange. Therefore we have seen martial arts competitors jump all over the sparring floor with unequaled speed, land their strike, then stand in range with their hands on their own thigh, actively playing up their position to judges offering very little respect for their opponent's come back.

Not everyone knows this but Bruce Lee never fought in any competitions!

If you ever get the side mount then you need to do this move. It is absolutely awesome! The opponent does not know if you are going for an arm bar or a gi choke.

One of my goals this year is to get more flexible. I have always had a hard time getting my kicks over my chest. And now that I plan on doing some serious competitions this year I want to make sure I can fool my opponent with some high as well as low kicks.

So I am getting the above stretching machine at www.bestlegstretchers.com. I am going to get the heavy duty model. In addition to the stretching machine I also want to get involved in some good yoga classes. I hear yoga is suppose to help with the over all stretching and limberness. I even saw a news report about yoga.

So enough talk - time to action!
